Little did they know they had come upon an unforeseen treat.\n\n     When asking about the special tasting they had booked, staff just told them to follow \u2018the trail of Chavela\u2019:  a stream of rose petals led them through the olive tree garden surrounding the property and into a cellar deep beneath the main <em>Casa Frida<\/em> building. \n\n     After knocking at the door, they were introduced to the realm of <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/casafridavalle.com\/es\/cava-chavela-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cava Chavela<\/a><\/em><\/strong>: dark velvet curtains, low-key lighting, floral fragrances and soul-wrenching songs by larger-than-life Mexican singer Chavela Vargas (once the beloved muse of artist Frida Kahlo) set the stage for <em>Casa Frida<\/em>\u2019s most exclusive experience: an intimate tasting of premium wine, tequila, <em>ib\u00e9rico<\/em> and artisanal chocolates.\n\n<strong><em>\u201cDelicious, surprising, this was totally different and unexpected. We will never forget our first visit here, and this stands out as a definite highlight,\u201d said Buenrostro.<\/em><\/strong>\n\n     Guests are treated to a tasting of four premium wines by <em>Casa Frida<\/em>: <em>Grisel<\/em> (100% Chenin Blanc), <em>Desnudo<\/em> (a blend of Sauvignon 60% Merlot 40%), <em>Chavela<\/em> (Syrah 90% Viognier 10%) and <em>Petra<\/em>, the finest house reserve, made with 100% Barbera grapes, all of them paired with artisanal chocolates made exclusively for <em>Frida<\/em>.\n\n     During the secod part of the tasting experience, visitors also taste four different tequilas made by <em>Tequila Selecto<\/em> distillery from Amatitl\u00e1n, Jalisco.
