Esto no es s\u00f3lo sobre la comida o el vino, esto es una experiencia y un estilo de vida.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-3003\" style=\"margin: 9px;\" alt=\"drew\" src=\"http:\/\/rtodos-santos.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/drew-1024x1019.jpg\" width=\"525\" height=\"522\" \/>Para el chef Drew Deckman, cada ingrediente que pasa por la cocina de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/deckmansenelmogor?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\">Deckman\u2019s en el Mogor<\/a> es una parte de una historia que contar, que se va hilando en cada bocado. La labor del chef es simplemente acomodar las piezas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Reconocido como un promotor del movimiento Slow Food, que promueve la pr\u00e1ctica de una calidad de vida basada en el respeto al ritmo y tiempo naturales, al ambiente y la salud de los consumidores, la misi\u00f3n de Deckman\u2019s en el Mogor ha sido educar el paladar y las mentes a trav\u00e9s de su cocina, adem\u00e1s de fomentar el consumo de ingredientes locales, filosof\u00eda que comparte con la familia Bad\u00e1n, due\u00f1os del rancho El Mogor, donde se encuentra el restaurante. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Aunque est\u00e1 consciente que su pasaporte sigue siendo azul, la saz\u00f3n de Drew le ha llevado a ser reconocido como uno de los m\u00e1ximos exponentes de la cocina de Baja California, y su amor por el Valle le llev\u00f3 a dejar todo lo que ten\u00eda en Los Cabos para venir a apoyar tiempo completo a la escena enogastron\u00f3mica de esta regi\u00f3n. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cAlguna vez Hugo D\u2019Acosta, que es uno de mis mentores, me dijo que lo que estaba haciendo era bueno, pero para ayudar al Valle necesitaba estar aqu\u00ed. At least that\u2019show chef Drew Deckman explains his efforts to aid the Slow food movement, an international organization that embraces the notion that it is possible to feed people with good, clean and fair food in a sustainable way, and one that maintains respect for cultural identity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0As ambassador for Slow Food, Drew has made every effort to educate (in a very tasty manner, by the way) minds and palates with his cuisine, and has also been a great promoter of locally-sourced ingredients, a philosophy he shares with the Bad\u00e1n family, owners of El Mogor ranch, where Deckman\u2019s is located. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Although he is aware that his passport is still blue, Drew\u2019s culinary excellence has made him one of the most important chefs in contemporary Baja Cuisine, and his love for the Valle has made him leave everything in Cabo, his previous stint, so he could dedicate himself to promoting this region\u2019s food &amp; wine scene. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cHugo D\u2019Acosta, who is one of my mentors, once told me: \u2018Drew, what you\u2019re doing is great, but if you really want to help, you need to be here in El Valle.
